2:1 honours degree in any subject. 

  • We will consider your application if you achieved a 2.2 degree at undergraduate level, if you have also successfully completed or are due to complete a taught master’s degree at merit or above.

We are not expecting any in person NHS work experience. Your application for 2027 entry will not be negatively affected if you’ve been unable to complete any in person NHS work experience.

Admission test

UCAT. 

All applicants must sit the UCAT in the same year as the application is made for the course. Applicants who achieve a UCAT SJT grade of Band 4 will not be considered for this course. 

UCAT sections are scored separately and we do not have a fixed UCAT threshold for interview. 

Interview method

Interviews are likely to be in person MMIs for home fee status applicants and online MMIs for international fee status applicants for 2027 entry.

Teaching method

These methods typically include a combination of lectures, group-based learning, clinical and communication skills practice, practical and simulation activities. Clinical experience is integrated throughout the programme, with increasing time spent on clinical placement as you progress. You’ll also have regular meetings with your educational supervisor throughout the course.
