All graduating students are required to pass the Medical Licensing Assessment (MLA) as part of the medical degree. The MLA is formed of two assessments: the Clinical and Professional Skills Assessment (CPSA) and the Applied Knowledge Test (AKT).

You do not need to pay for private paid-for courses or textbooks – our AKT resources are always free. No staff involved in setting the AKT contribute to private courses or materials. Unofficial resources may not reflect the quality or accuracy of those provided through the Medical Schools Council, which are developed and quality assured by the experts who design the assessment.
