Prior to her appointment as the Dean of the School of Medicine in Liverpool, Professor Hazel Scott was Associate Postgraduate Dean (Quality) in the Scotland Deanery, Deputy Head of the University of Glasgow Undergraduate Medical School and Director of Medical Education for a large Health Board. Her clinical research interests and MD are in lung cancer. In addition, she has held numerous lead roles in medical education. A Fellow of both the Glasgow and London Royal Colleges of Physicians, she has also held the roles of Honorary Secretary, Director of Medical Education, Director of CPD and Vice President Medical of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.
