Margaret qualified from the University of Nottingham Medical School in 1996. She has been a Consultant in Genitourinary Medicine at Manchester Royal Infirmary since 2003. With a strong track record in medical education, she has served as Regional Training Programme Director since 2010, Associate Medical Director for Medical Education since 2016, and holds an MSc in Medical Education from the University of Manchester. She co-founded St Mary’s multidisciplinary HIV antenatal clinic and is lead author of the UK national syphilis guidelines. Nationally, she has contributed to guideline development through the British Association for Sexual Health and HIV (BASHH), where she is a Fellow of the Board.
