CARES Co-Lead Year 1 &2 Integrated Core Unit (ICU)

An opportunity has become available to join the MBChB programme during an exciting period of curriculum redesign. If you are a practicing clinician with an passion for supporting medical students to develop key skills for clinical practice, then this role will be of great interest.

The CARES strand aims to give students a grounding in the Clinical Assessment of patients, diagnostic Reasoning, Ethical and legal aspects of patient care and patient Safety. The team support students through range of blended learning, workshops, simulated practice and clinical placements. 

As co- lead for the CARES 1 & 2 ICU you will be responsible for the leadership, delivery, assessment, evaluation and development of this specific course component of the MBChB programme within the School of Medicine working with Dr Abigail Flinders (A.J.Flinders@leeds.ac.uk).

This role will be based on the university campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner.   We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.
