The Clinical and Professional Skills Assessment (CPSA)

This is a practical assessment of a candidate's clinical skills and professionalism. Each medical school may call the CPSA something different – for example, an Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) or Objective Structured Long Examination Record (OSLER). The CPSA that a student sits will be determined by their medical school and will be different to other institutions however each medical school has to meet the criteria for the CPSA set out by the GMC. Candidate's can contact their medical school for more information on the CPSA.
