CL8: £43,522 - £49, 246 per annum;
STR: £35,509 - £51,154 per annum;
Junior Doctors Payscale: £39,492- £49,239 per annum
Duties and Responsibilities
UCL Medical School is looking for at least two Senior Clinical Teaching Fellows to support the delivery of high quality medical education. The postholder will participate in the development, delivery and evaluation of all enterprise activity within MSEC including delivery overseas.
The postholder will report to the UCL Medical School Enterprise Lead (Dr Ahmed Rashid) and will contribute to the development of educational materials and written and practical assessments, standard setting processes, and faculty development courses.
The post will be for a duration of 1 year in the first instance. There is up to 1.2 FTE available. Part time and job share applications are encouraged.
The successful candidate will have a Medical degree, a CCT (or be within 12 months of completion), and a postgraduate qualification in medical education.This post will particularly suit senior clinicians looking to further develop their education and enterprise experience alongside their clinical career.
Candidates without a National Training Number will be appointed as a Clinical Teaching Fellow grade CL8.
Depending on the position of the applicant within their speciality training, appointment may be on the STR or Junior Doctors Payscale.
