Applicants must hold or be working towards GCSEs in a minimum of six subjects at grade 5 or B or above including Mathematics, English Language and one science subject. GCSE resits are accepted.
National 5s are accepted in lieu of GCSEs with a minimum of 6 subjects at grade B including Mathematics, English Language and one science subject.
Team-Based Learning (TBL) is an active learning method that engages students in a structured approach. Students collaborate with their team to solve problems and receive immediate feedback.
Applicants should be predicted to achieve or achieved the minimum requirement.
Level 3 resits are not accepted.
Clinal experience is not required. If you are invited to interview you are will need to provide two examples of relevant work experience which have informed your decision to study Medicine.

This is specifically a widening-participation (WP) route. It is only open to students who who meet WP eligibility criteria.
This course is a ‘Widening Access’ programme for students who are in the 13th year of education or left school no more than three years prior to the course start date. Applicants must have completed their GCSE and Level 3 qualifications in the UK. It is designed for students whose circumstances or educational opportunities have prevented them from realising their academic potential.
