The Medical Schools Council is inviting applications for a new External Adviser to support its Applied Knowledge Test (AKT), a key component of the Medical Licensing Assessment.
The advisory role will focus on shaping assessment policy and best practice, contributing to exam design and standard setting and supporting discussions around EDI. The successful candidate will join the AKT Policy Group and help guide the development and delivery of this high-stakes national exam.
Applicants should have significant experience in large-scale assessments and a strong understanding of quality assurance and governance. Medical assessment experience is not essential. The role requires a commitment of up to five days per year.
