Board
The purpose of the MSCAA Board is to lead the development of the different streams of the MSC Assessment Alliance on behalf of the Medical Schools Council. The Board will consider the interests of partner schools and other stakeholders in its decision making and advice to the Medical Schools Council.

The overarching aim of the MSCAA is to help ensure the confidence of the public, employers and the regulatory body in the quality of medical school graduates by:

  • Developing the highest quality assessment items for undergraduate students and thus to enhance their learning experiences
  • Sharing experience and adding value through collaboration rather than competition
  • Demonstrating the equivalence of the standards applied by medical schools
