NIHR Integrated Academic Training Path

4 years fixed term

Salary: Grade A63 or A67: £33,127 - £58,593 per annum dependent on qualifications and experience, in line with current pay protection and transitional arrangements in the NHS.

Applications are invited from the listed specialties for one post under the NIHR Integrated Academic Training Pathway. This is a fixed-term, four-year post which offers excellent opportunities to undertake high quality research within a clinically excellent environment and to undertake clinical work towards gaining a CCT. In addition to the NIHR funded post available, locally funded posts may also be awarded in parallel, subject to funding and assessment against the stated criteria for the role. Applicants should be medically qualified, ST3 and above, have full GMC registration and already hold, or have submitted for Higher Degree (PhD/DPhil/MD).

The NIHR ACL post will be from the following specialties:

Plastic Surgery, based in the Nuffield Department of Surgical Sciences, John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford

Emergency Medicine, based in the Nuffield Department of Orthopaedics, Rheumatology and Musculoskeletal Sciences, Kadoorie Research Centre, Oxford

Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery, based in the Nuffield Department of Orthopaedics, Rheumatology and Musculoskeletal Sciences, Botnar Research Centre, Oxford or Kadoorie Research Centre, Oxford
