Professor or Associate Professor (Clinical) in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry/Honorary Consultant

The University in collaboration with Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust (http://www.leicspart.nhs.uk/Default.aspx ) is seeking to appoint to this high profile role.

You will lead a programme of research, teaching and health interventions to improve child and adolescent mental health and well-being by discovering new ways to treat and cure mental health problems occurring within children and adolescents.

Acting as an ambassador for the University and Trust, you will further raise the external profile of research in Leicester, contributing to the excellence of teaching, enterprise and leadership.

The clinical duties will be determined by the appointees experience and preference for the clinical area of work in the Trust.

You will hold an MD or PhD and demonstrate your leadership skills in delivering teaching excellence, impact and a successful track record of high quality, competitive research. You will make a major contribution to the University that is re-imagining its future and to children’s mental health across the East Midlands.
