Clinical Research Fellow in Ophthalmology

The study involves genetics of ophthalmological diseases, consisting of pheontyping patients and/or laboratory work depending on progress. You will be involved in recruiting patients and their families, examining patients and investigating them with techniques such as OCT and magnetic resonance imaging.
Further Information
This post is most suited to a specialist trainee (ST3 or above) in Ophthalmology who is interested in pursuing a period of full time research leading to a higher degree (MD or PhD). Previous research and evidence of publication are advantageous, as would membership of the Royal College of Ophthalmology.
