Are you medically qualified and ambitious with an interest in using cardiovascular care and outcomes? Do you want to further your career by undertaking a PhD in one of the UK’s leading research intensive Universities?

You will support and undertake research in cardiovascular care quality, studying international data definitions, data harmonisation, quality indicators and guideline recommendations for a range of cardiovascular diseases. You will lead your own studies in this area, but work closely with international experts as well as the local cardiovascular epidemiology research team at Leeds University.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with international experts and for your research to have high impact clinically relevant outputs. You will be medically qualified with MRCP or equivalent, full GMC registration and undertaking specialist training in Cardiology.

Salary awarded depending on trainee’s current NHS pay scale and pay protection status under transitional arrangements (£33,221 - £50,068 p.a.)
Maximum salary of £48,082 p.a. can be offered due to funding.
