£34,466 to £51,069 per annum (Post 2009 scale)

 

This is a full time post offered on a fixed-term basis for up to four years, or to the award of CCT with potential for an additional grace period of 6 months, whichever is reached soonest, to coincide with the remainder of the post holder’s speciality training programme.

 

We are seeking a Clinical Lecturer to join us at the University of East Anglia. We are particularly interested in individuals from the following subspecialties: Gastroenterology or Public Health or Old People’s Medicine.

 

You will join a vibrant University and a research department with 50% of your time protected for research, whilst at the same time continue your training as a specialist registrar through a Health Education East of England NTN. This post is designed for trainees post-higher degree (PhD or MD), who can demonstrate outstanding potential for development as a clinical academic. 

 

Further Information

Applicants must have a PhD or MD (Res) prior to starting the lectureship, evidenced by either a degree certificate or a letter from a University stating that they will be awarded a higher research degree before the lectureship start date. Holders of a CCT are not eligible to apply.
