Student professionalism competition - two weeks left to submit

10.09.17

There is now two weeks left for students to submit to the joint Medical Schools Council and General Medical Council student competition on professionalism.

Students are asked to create an engaging teaching session focusing on the importance of honesty and integrity as a doctor, and use our joint guidance, Achieving good medical practice, to explore these issues. Sessions should focus on three themes:

  • Coursework, assessments and academic life;
  • Interactions with patients, peers and professionals on placements
  • Health and wellbeing

The wining entry will receive a £300 high street voucher, with £100 vouchers available for two runner up entries. The winners will also have their session shared with all UK medical schools as a teaching resource.

The competition closes on Sunday 24 September, and more details are available here
