If you are planning to study medicine in the UK your fee status will be determined by the medical school you plan to attend. This will vary between the different medical schools. You will be able to find out the fees you need to pay on the schools websites. For a list of UK medical schools and contact details visit the courses page.
Before you decide which university or college to attend, you need to be sure that you can pay all of the costs associated with studying in the UK. In addition to fees you will need enough money to cover your everyday living expenses including accommodation, food, gas and electricity, clothes and travel costs. It is likely that you will also need to purchase books and equipment for your courses and pay for travel between the UK and your home country.
The UK Council for International Student Affairs (UKCISA) and the British Council offer support from their international offices working out how much money you will need. UNIAID has a useful finance calculator which can help you manage your money while studying in the UK.
The UCAS website also has some useful information on funding issues.
