The General Medical Council’s (the regulatory body for doctors in the UK) Good Medical Practice guidance outlines the principles and values that are expected of the medical profession. This guidance will help you to gain a greater understanding of the profession in action and what will be expected of you if you decide to pursue a career in medicine. There are also some interactive sessions on the GMC website that are fun and informative and test you on how you would react in certain situations.
