Access courses
Access courses provide a route for learners wishing to study medicine who do not have formal qualifications beyond GCSE/O-Level. They are delivered in Further Education institutions and are often free or at low fee levels.
Different medical schools have different policies about accepting applications from access courses. You are advised to contact the medical schools you are interested in applying to about which courses they accept before starting any access course. This information can often be found on individual medical schools' websites.
