The Medical Schools Council responds to the UKBA consultation on The Student Immigration System
The Medical Schools Council has responded to the UK Boarder Agency's consultation on The Student Immigration System.
The Medical Schools Council broadly welcomes the need to develop the regulations on student immigration. However, we have a number of concerns about the proposed changes around clinical placements, retaining the attractiveness of UK medical degrees and the administrative burden for HE institutions.
More information, including the full consultation response, can be found on the
consultation page.
