The Medical Schools Council has responded to HEFCE's 'Teaching Funding and Student Number Controls: Consultation on Changes to be Implemented in 2012-13'.  

The consultation response highlights the need for clarification on transitional and long-term funding for teaching support, and the need to be mindful of the widening participation agenda.
