Helpful hints
You MUST save the file to your computer before opening it
• When the Excel file opens, you will be prompted to enable macros and enable data connections – this is a normal message, and not a virus warning!
• The tool runs in Windows Excel and is compatible with all Microsoft operating systems, and Microsoft Office 2007 onwards
• You can download the graphs to Microsoft Word, and the underlying data table to Excel
• After using the web tool, the next time you use Excel the formulae bar may not be visible. To reinstate this, go to the ‘View’ tab and click on the box to view formulae bar
• Unfortunately, the Excel file is not compatable with Apple computers

Instructions
• Choose from the three charts on the Main Menu
• Use the drop down lists at the top of the chart, and tick lists on the right hand side, to change the variables
• You can click to hide or show the labels for the data – FTE is shown to the nearest whole number, and full data is available in Excel
• To download the chart or the data, click on the Word and Excel icons
