As part of our organisational aims the Medical Schools Council is committed to promoting clinical academic careers.

The Medical Schools Council has produced a number of surveys on clinical academic staffing levels in UK Medical and Dental Schools, created a job website - www.clinicalacademicjobs.org - specifically for the advertisement of clinical academic and research posts in UK Medical Schools and set up a working group on women in clinical academia.
